| New Jersey | ||||||||
|
Yes, I actually went there on purpose |

Riding through New Jersey is very similar to riding in Los Angeles. It requires great perseverance (due to the unfriendly roads) and you have to ride a long time before seeing anything of merit.
|
The first hurdle is getting across the George Washington Bridge (GWB). This is the only bicycle link between New York and Manhattan. The path is wide enough under ideal circumstances, however the steel cables reduce the path's usable width significantly.
|
Some
of the inner New Jersey towns such as Hoboken possess very
handsome architecture. As I said, if you ride around the area
enough, you can find amazing sights.

On my way to work, I crossed over three different rivers. This offered amazing sights in different settings and light levels.
